neat. fyi, I just uploaded a couple of photos to my flickr page of a swatch I just put together carrying the contrasting yarn along the rows - so I changed color for both forward and reverse passes, but have no ends to weave in (other than the beginning and end of the swatch). I made it in black and white so as to best show off the stitch detail and how little the carried yarn shows through...

on another note...I would love to learn a new way of making cables! I have both of the "Crocheted Aran Sweaters" books by Jane Snedden Peever, and those cables add great touchability to projects. knowing how to do it in tunisian crochet would be awesome.

Sally - Well, I save my swatches in a swatch book - so I can refer to them later. I write down the yarn & hook I used, plus any notes I think are important. That way, I always have a sample to refer to for gauge, and I can flip through my swatch book for ideas.

Hehe, I intend on hopefully adding pics tonight.

Quick question, what are you planning to do with all the blocks once they are completed?
